STEEL BRIDGE COMPETITION

 

Wentworth’s interdisciplinary team of civil engineering, civil engineering technology, construction management, and electromechanical engineering students competed against 12 other participating colleges and universities in the competition, which focused on increasing student awareness of real-world engineering issues. The challenge required students to design, fabricate, and construct a 30-inch-wide, 23-foot-long, 3-foot-tall steel bridge that could hold 2,500 pounds. Read more.
